Entered into Best Use of Footage in an Arts Production by Yeti Television

This documentary was the first to tell the story behind Sylvia Plath’s seminal novel. It cleverly wove the autobiographical narrative of the book with the testimony of Plath’s friends and daughter whilst painting a vivid picture of 1950s America in which the book was set. It brought to life that ‘queer sultry summer’ of 1953 when Plath experienced the highest of highs and lowest of lows.
